For this player poster design, I decided to go with a gradient background in orange to represent the team’s colors. It keeps things bright and simple.
I chose a bold for to make the design feel strong and impactful. To make it feel like an ice hockey rink, I used a grunge brush on the player’s number, adding that scratched-up, foggy look you see on the ice.
This combination of clean color, strong typography, and textured details creates a dynamic and visually engaging design.
